Vikash Dubey was caught from the courtyard of the Mahakal temple in Ujjain. Significantly, Vikas Dubey was accused of killing 8 policemen and he was running away from the UP police for the last 7 days. Vikash Dubey was seen in Faridabad 2 days before his arrest, from where he dodged the police and reached Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh via Rajasthan. He also took a slip in the temple of Mahakal with his own name. And he was going backwards with the bug where the guard stopped him and informed the police.

Vikash Dubey was running away due to fear of police encounter and after his arrest he now escaped from police encounter.
6 of his companions have already died in the encounter, while many family members and companions have also been arrested. Talking to the media, Vikas Dubey's mother has said that Vikash Dubey was earlier in BJP but now he is in SP. With the arrest of Vikash Dubey, now the names of many people could have revealed in this case.
